Our Therapy Practice

Therapy-Help offers psychotherapy and counselling services specifically designed to address a variety of mental health issues, including counselling for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and challenges stemming from Adverse Childhood Experiences, Trauma (PTSD), Betrayal Trauma, Mood Disorders, Stress, Life Stage Adjustment Issues, and Addiction Recovery.  

  

We provide personalized therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families that focus on creating awareness of one’s conditions, fostering acceptance of the underlying factors contributing to the issues, and outlining the work necessary for making positive changes. Our goal is to instill hope and aspiration for building a better life.  

  

Our therapy services are available for individuals over 18 years of age, with the flexibility of in-person or online sessions via Zoom. Sessions can be conducted in either English or Mandarin as needed.

Our Therapy Approach

In a typical therapy journey, we begin with a case history intake and necessary assessments to understand the state of mental health, particularly when dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, grief, or burnout. 


During this initial stage, we gain a better awareness of why we might be experiencing certain psychological, physical, or medical symptoms. If deemed necessary, referrals for medication intervention may be provided. 


Next, we discuss and agree on the therapy goals, outlining the respective roles of you and the therapist in the process, as well as the milestones of progress. The main focus of the therapy process starts with crisis management and safety, especially for those coping with trauma. Following this, we employ diverse therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs and goals. 


Some of these techniques may include Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness Practice, Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy (EFCT), Attachment Repair, as well as models aimed at Addiction Recovery.

About our Psychotherapist

Juliana is a Registered Counsellor and a Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling. She holds a master's degree in counselling, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and burnout, from Monash University. Juliana has worked in Group Practice Clinic settings, Halfway house, and Telehealth settings.


Having lived and worked across Asia, Australia, France, and Korea, she is well-versed in cross-cultural nuances related to therapy practices, mental health in the workplace, and addiction recovery. She is open to diverse cultural and gender demographics.


Juliana's professional training includes:


- Fully trained EMDR Therapist with EMDRIA. Juliana Pang - EMDR International Association (emdria.org)

- Accredited CPTT in betrayal trauma from Sex, Love and Pornography Addiction with IITAP. Juliana Pang - IITAP

- Professional member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals.

- Externship in Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy (EFCT)

- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Practice.
